Social Sciences Research and Methodology

State-of-the-art research is at the heart of our work. At Visionary Analytics we continuously conduct independent research activities and develop methodological tools that enable us to deliver high-quality services for our clients and contribute to the body of knowledge.

Our expertise covers methodologies for policy impact assessments and evaluation (ex ante, interim and ex post), qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methods (case studies, literature reviews, bibliometric analysis, surveys, statistical and/or econometric analysis, structural modelling etc.), and foresight analysis.

The team is experienced in working with different databases. In addition to classical research approaches, our team includes several researchers trained in statistical / econometric analysis, structural equation modelling, web scraping, data and text mining, bibliometric analysis and counterfactual analysis.

Furthermore, VA has developed an in-house big data tool ‘Vacancy Analytics’ that provides real time information on labour market demand. Team members regularly publish research findings in scientific journals.
