Expertise

Austėja Švedkauskienė has been conducting policy research at Visionary Analytics since August 2022. Throughout her career, Austėja was involved in multiple projects in the domains of educational, human capital, social, labour market and cohesion policies. She also has vast experience in consulting government institutions on institutional capacity building, strategic planning, and reform implementation. Currently, her thematic focus is mostly oriented towards educational and human capital policies and their role in supporting economic and social development.

As a Research Manager at Visionary Analytics, Austėja coordinates and conducts research or evaluation assignments, overseeing all stages of research from preparing the conceptual and methodological research tools, to undertaking extensive data collection, to applying complex research methods, to developing the final outputs, such as analytical reports and policy recommendations. Her portfolio includes working with clients such as the European Commission (DG REGIO, DG REFORM), Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania, Ministry of the Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania, Office of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, various Lithuanian governmental agencies, and multiple others.
