Expertise

Vainius Bartasevičius has been conducting policy research at Visionary Analytics since June 2022. Throughout his career, Vainius was involved in multiple projects in the domains of employment, education, criminal justice and R&D&I policies. At Visionary, his thematic focus is mostly oriented towards labour market policies.

Before joining Visionary Analytics, Vainius led quantitative impact evaluation projects, preparing statistical analysis plans, overseeing data collection, conducting analyses and developing evaluation reports. He designed and conducted several quasi-experimental evaluations that used propensity score matching, difference-in-differences and interrupted time series, as well as a randomized controlled trial (RCT). In addition, Vainius delivered research outputs for the European Commission (DG REGIO), UK departments (Department for Education, Ministry of Justice and others), the Welsh Government, and Lithuanian ministries.
