Expertise
Marius Kalanta has been conducting policy research at Visionary Analytics since 2023. Throughout his earlier career at public analytical centres and as an academic researcher, Marius was involved in multiple projects in the domains of innovation, entrepreneurship, industrial, trade, and public governance policies. Currently, his thematic focus is mostly oriented towards industrial, SME, and R&D&I policies, and their role in supporting economic and social development.
As a Senior Researcher at Visionary Analytics, Marius coordinates and leads research or evaluation assignments, overseeing all stages of research from preparing the conceptual and methodological research tools, to undertaking extensive data collection, to developing the final outputs, such as analytical reports and policy recommendations. His portfolio includes working with clients such as the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of Lithuania, the Ministry of Environment of Lithuania, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, the Government Chancellery of Lithuania, and others. He has also worked on projects funded by the Lithuanian Research Council, European Commission, and Norwegian Grants.
