Vaida Gineikytė-Kanclerė has been working in the field of public policy research and evaluation since 2013. Throughout her career, Vaida has been involved in numerous research projects for the European Commission and EU decentralised agencies, carrying out research and managerial roles. Her main fields of interest have included welfare state and social policies, social innovation, labour market and employment. Since 2017, the focus of her projects have increasingly shifted towards the issues related to digital platforms, digital markets and the regulation of the digital economy.

Vaida has designed, overseen and implemented studies and evaluations involving multi-country non-probability surveys, large scale interview programmes and literature reviews, focus groups, and automated data collection from the web. She is continuously upgrading her methodological and managerial skills through her participation in training and summer schools, as well as self-study.
